LILITH

She is a series of goodbyes,
Of abandonments,
Odors lingering,
Gray, wet.
She is formless, smoke.
A shadow turning,
Eyes red,
Tattooed with varicose serpents,
Dandruff mobile in her eyebrows.
Standing on the corner,
The wind between her legs.
Opening a can of cat food,
Alone in the blind white light.
