Lava boils upon the surface of the sun. Teeny-bop jelly-pop Tangles with static. Irritation stirs a denim slouch To instigate investigation. All across the dial, the querulous voices Suffer the fallout from the surges Which rise ten thousand miles, then fall, as casual As a fish feinting at a fly. The massed land drifts the magma; Nuclear thunders threaten Continents of caesura. The sun burns toward nova; The moon shifts; The stars scuttle toward silence; The seas cool: And somewhere an insect discovers The concept of overlord god. |
