A Poem about Daisies
(By Jozanna Yu, age 22)

The red broom flies up her skirts.
The wet rag is soaking the city.
She drinks white wine and takes flight.
On the wings of a cockroach she skloaches.
        Geronimo! Skelronimo!
        Woman triumphant! Potato clapper!
The pigeons burst from the bell,
And the frogs all cheer, and suck sherbet.
